Obligations
Under Fire Safety Regulations, property owners and occupiers have an obligation to obtain a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) where they are in control of a property or part of a property.
For instance, an office tenant would be responsible for the FRA for their demise, and the property owner would be responsible for the common parts.
Advice
Procters Fire Safety provides advice to property owners and asset managers to maximise the fire safety of their investments by;
- Providing FRAs for common parts
- Project managing recommended improvements.
- Liasing with tenants to ensure that they are performing their obligations and detailing options available to them to procure an FRA.
Property Managers
The surveyor responsible for an estate is deemed to be the Responsible Person under the regulations, with the risk of prosecution should obligations not be carried out.
We help the Responsible Person carry out their obligations under the law.
